Privacy Policy
How Pillowy handles your information.
Last updated: 16 June 2026
The short version
Pillowy keeps your name, preferences and streaks on your own device. There are no analytics, no ads, and nothing is sold. If you subscribe to Pillowy Plus, the payment is handled entirely by your app store — we never see your card details.
Who we are
Pillowy is made by Kosu Apps, an independent studio operated by Szymon. Questions? Email szymon.kosu@gmail.com. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Kosu Apps.
Information stored on your device
The details you share during setup and as you use Pillowy are stored locally on your phone and are not transmitted to us. This includes:
- Your name, if you choose to enter one.
- Your preferences — what's keeping you up, the body figure you select, and your language.
- Your night-streak progress and completed-routine history.
Information we do not collect
- No account or sign-up is required to use the app.
- No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and no ads.
- No location tracking and no advertising identifiers.
- We never sell, rent, or share your personal information.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Pillowy may send a local reminder one day before a free trial ends, so you're never charged by surprise. These notifications are generated on your device and their content is not sent to any server. You can disable them at any time in your device settings.
Subscriptions & payments (Pillowy Plus)
Pillowy offers an optional paid subscription, Pillowy Plus. All billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and subscription status is managed through our payments provider, RevenueCat, which processes a limited, anonymous purchase identifier to keep your subscription in sync across your devices. We never see or store your payment-card details.
- Your app store's privacy policy governs the payment itself.
- RevenueCat acts as our data processor for subscription status only.
- You can view, manage, or cancel a subscription any time in your app store account settings.
App permissions
The app asks only for what it needs — primarily permission to send notifications. You can grant or revoke this whenever you like in your device settings.
Deleting your data
Your personal data lives on your device, so deleting the app removes it. Note that an active subscription is managed by your app store and should be cancelled there separately if you no longer want it.
Children's privacy
Pillowy is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes as the app evolves, we'll update the "last updated" date above and reflect the changes here.
